Tony devises new methods of public engagement to empower decision makers and the community to progress democratic society. Trained in arts and culture and the public realm, he has worked for many years in the public sector, positioning the role of the artist as a leading professional in good governance. His strategic planning skills have helped develop the two main Haring Woods methodologies: CONNECT and Perception AREA. He is a dynamic public speaker and creative mentor. Tony has an MA in Public Art / Urban Design at Chelsea School of Art and was a founder member and director of the Basildon Art & Design Initiative which won two national awards for cultural development. He is a fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
